I go by Cigar Lady Taylor in the cigar community. Taylor, which is my last name not my first name. One of my older brothers introduced me to cigar smoking in 2017 and that's where my love began.

How I came up with the name cigar broad?​

I was dating this man and I broke it off. In that argument he called me a "Broad!" I don't know why that one word disturbed by soul, but it did. He knew I wasn't a broad. This was 2019.

 

I kept smoking and meeting people in the cigar culture and become very passionate about it. I had people around me, encouraging me, to start a business encompassing cigars since I was so passionate about it. It came to me in a dream so clearly, Cigar Broad. When I woke up, I looked up the definition of a broad: 

1. Slang reference to a woman

2. Something with great width or wide-ranging scope

3. Broad range of topics

This is when I said I will turn a negative connotation to a positive one. I called my oldest brother with the business idea, name, and terminology, and he liked it. Next thing I did was called my niece (the attorney). She said "Yes! Great conversation piece." I only told a few people of my idea for my brand. However, my cigar sister pulled me to the side and told me, "stop telling people! First thing you need to do is get it trademarked." This was 2023. I applied for my trademark in February 2024 and in October 2025 I got Cigar Broad trademarked!
